Jesus Teachings

Jesus' Teachings (???)

teachings

JESUS’ TEACHINGS - (Teachings???)

The Lessons of Jesus - (Lessons???)

The teachings of Jesus are so confusing that consensus on their meanings is very rare, and, often in the Christian Word of God describes Jesus’ very own disciples as not understanding his teachings.

No man is without sin … except Christians … they don’t sin

There is none righteous, no, not one. [Rom 3:10]

For there is no man that sins not. [1 Kings 8:46]

Who can say, I have made my heart clean; I am pure from my sin? [Prov 20:9

For there is not a just man on earth, that does good and sinns not. [Eccl 7:20

CHRISTIANS EXEMPT

Whoever is born of God doth not commit sin; . . . He cannot sin, because he is born of God. . . . Whoever abides in him sins not. He that commits sin is of the devil. [1 John 3:9, 6, 8 ]

All scripture is inspired … but some scripture is not

All scripture is given by inspiration of God. [2 Tim 3:16]

SCRIPTURE NOT

But I speak this by permission and not by commandment. [1 Cor 7:6]

But to the rest speak I, not the Lord. [1 Cor 7:12]

That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord. [2 Cor 11:17]

Only Christians will be on the Earth

There will be no other religious beliefs, only Jesus Christ (the fable)

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.            Phil 2:10-11

11 It is written:
“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’”       Rom 14:11

Do NOT be Hospitable to non-Christians, or You Share his Wickedness

10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11 Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work.         2 John 10-11

Contra:

44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,          Matt 5:44

11 Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.        3 John 11

No evil shall happen to the Godly… and … Evil does happen to the Godly

There shall no evil happen to the just. Prov 12:21

Who is he that will harm you, if you be followers of that which is good?    1 Pet 3:13

Compare:

Whom the Lord loves he chaveens, and scourges every son whom he receives.      Heb 12:6

Much Prayers.. you need to …and… you don’t need to

Because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. . . . And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night to him?     Luke 18:5, 7

Because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.    Luke 11:8

Compare:

But when you pray, use not vain repetitions as the heathen do; for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be you not therefore like to them; for your father knows what things you have need of before you ask him.         Matthew 6:7, 8

Serve Masters???

Servants, obey in all things your masters after the flesh. . . . And whatever you do, do it as heartily as to the lord.       Col. 3:22, 23

Be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also, to the froward.     1 Peter 2:18

6 All who are under the yoke of slavery should regard their own masters as deserving of the highest respect, so that the name of God and our teaching may not be discredited.  2 Moreover, those who have believing masters should be respectful to them, because they are fellow believers.[c] In fact, they must serve them even better, because those who benefit from their service are believers and dear to them. These are the things you must teach and exhort.         1 Tim 6:1-2

9 Slaves are to submit to their masters in everything, aiming to please them and not argue with them 10 or steal from them. Instead, they are to show complete and perfect loyalty, so that in every way they may make the teaching about God our Savior more attractive.           Tit 2:9-10

5 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear, trembling, and sincerity, as when you obey[a] the Messiah.            Eph 6:5

FORGET ABOUT IT

Be not you the servants of men.     1 Cor 7:23

Neither be you called masters; for one is your master, even Christ.    Matthew 23:10

You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.     Matthew 4:10

Obey your Rulers they are God’s ministers…..wait… strike that

Let every soul be subject to the higher powers. For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God. Whoever, therefore, resists the power, resists the ordinance of God; and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. . . . For this cause pay you tribute; for they are God’s ministers, attending continually on this very thing.         Rom 13:1, 2, 3, 6

The scribes and pharisees sit in Moses’ seat; all, therefore, whatever they bid you observe, that observe and do.       Matthew 23:2, 3

Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake; whether it be to the king as supreme, or to the governors as to them that are sent of him for the punishment of evil doers.     1 Peter 2:13, 14

I counsel you to keep the king’s commandment. . . . Whoso keeps the commandment shall feel no evil thing.         Eccl. 8:2, 5

But…what is this???

And the rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against his Christ. For of a truth, against your holy child Jesus, whom you has anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together.       Acts 4:26, 27

Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the Market places, and the chief seats in the synagogues. . . . These shall receive greater damnation.       Mark 12:38, 39, 40

And Herod with his men of war set him at naught, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate. . . . And Pilate gave sentence. . . . And when they were come to the place which is called Calvary, there they crucified him. . . . And the people stood by beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him.       Luke 23:11, 24, 33, 35

Hidden teachings

God said - Nothing is hidden

For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open.    Mark 4:22

“I have spoken openly to the world,” Jesus replied. “I always taught in synagogues or at the
temple, where all the Jews come together. I said nothing in secret.    John 18:20

God said - God conceals

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.    Prov 25:2

The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our  children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.    Deut 29:29

God said - The truth has always been completely evident

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of
people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness,

19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.

20 For since the creation of the world  God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.    Rom 1:18-20

God said - God’s word is in books that are sealed

Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and
sealed with seven seals.    Rev 5:1

Burdens and troubles

God said in his word - God will relieve our burdens

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”    Matt 11:28, 30

God said - God will give us troubles and tribulations

because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.”Heb 12:6

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have
trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”    John 16:33

God does both

“See now that I myself am he!
There is no god besides me.
I put to death and I bring to life,
I have wounded and I will heal,
and no one can deliver out of my hand.    Deut 32:39

“The Lord brings death and makes alive;
he brings down to the grave and raises up.
7 The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
he humbles and he exalts.    1 Sam 2:6-7

God said - “Bear one another’s burdens”

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.    Gal 6:2

God said - “Every man shall bear his own burden”

for each one should carry their own load.    Gal 6:5

Eat flesh & blood

Jesus commands his followers to be cannibals

53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.      John 6:53-54

But ...

God will punish wicked by making them drink blood for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.”      Rev 16:6

May Christians eat Food offered to idols    (including Jesus and Mary)

Yes

4 So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that “An idol is nothing at all in the world” and that “There is no God but one.”
8 But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.
1 Cor 8:1-13

No

18 Consider the people of Israel: Do not those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar? 19 Do I mean then that food sacrificed to an idol is anything, or that an idol is anything? 20 No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons.    1 Cor 18-21

29 You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality.     Acts 15:29

20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols      Rev 2:20

Was John the Baptist Elijah???

YES

This is Elijah which was to come.     Matt. 11:14

NO

And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elijah? and he said I am not.     John 1:21

Should We be Afraid of those that wish to Kill Us???

NO.

Be not afraid of them that kill the body.    Luke 12:4

YES.

Yet Christ himself was afraid of those that wished to kill him.

After these things Jesus walked in Galilee; for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.    John 7:1

teachings

Jesus Forbids Calling Fool

Jesus forbids calling someone a fool

22 But I say to you, anyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be subject to punishment. And whoever says to his brother ‘Raka!’ will be subject to the Council. And whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be subject to hell fire.         Matt 5:22

Then Jesus the hypocrite does it

17 You blind fools! What is more important, the gold or the sanctuary that made the gold holy?          Matt 23:17

40 You fools! The one who made the outside made the inside, too, didn’t he?        Luke 11:40

Love or Curse your Enemies

Jesus says to love your enemies, bless them that hate you

44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,     Matt 5:44

Then he he does the opposite and curses his enemies

34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
  Matt 12:34

15 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.
16 “Woe to you, blind guides! You say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but anyone who swears by the gold of the temple is bound by that oath.’ 17 You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred? 18 You also say, ‘If anyone swears by the altar, it means nothing; but anyone who swears by the gift on the altar is bound by that oath.’ 19 You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred?    Matt 23:15-19

27 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. 28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
29 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. 30 And you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ 31 So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Go ahead, then, and complete what your ancestors started!
33 “You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?    Matt 23:27-33

40 You foolish people! Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also?    Luke 11:40

8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them.   John 10:8

New Testament has new Divorce rules

Old Testament

But I say to you, that whoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causes her to commit adultery.       Matthew 5:32

New Testament

When a man has taken a wife and married her, and it come to pass that she found no favor in his eyes, . . . Then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.       Deut. 24:1

Miracles, a proof of divine mission ..But not a proof of divine mission

Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, and said to him, are you he that should come, or do we look for another? Jesus answered and said to them, go and show John again those things which you do hear and see; the blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised.      Matt 11:2-5

Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no man can do these miracles that you doest except God be with him.      John 3:2

But

If I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out?       Luke 11:19

Temptation to be desired and not to be desired

My brethren, I count it all joy when you fall into temptation.       James 1:2

Compare:

Lead us not into temptation.        Matt 6:13

Temptation

Does God tempt?

NO

13 When someone is tempted, he should not say, “I am being tempted by God,” because God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.     James 1:13

YES

But Gen 22:1, Matt 6:13, Deut 4:34, 8:2, Judg 2:22 (and others)

God controls the extent of our temptations

1 Cor 10:13, 2 Pet 2:9, Rev 3:10

Temptation is joy

2 Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations;     James 1:2

A good name a blessing? New Testament says a curse

A good name is better than precious ointment.      Eccl 7:1

A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches.       Prov 22:1

Compare:

Woe to you when all men shall speak well of you.            Luke 6:26

Poverty is a blessing … and riches woe to you

Blessed be you poor. . . . Woe to you that are rich!          Luke 6:20, 24

Has not God chosen the poor of this world, rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom?      James 2:5

But what???

Give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me; lest I be full, and deny you and say, who is the Lord? Or lest I be poor and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.         Prov 30:8, 9

The rich man’s wealth is his strong tower, but the destruction of the poor is their poverty.        Prov 10:15

If you return to the almighty then you shall be built up. . . . You shall then lay up gold as dust.        Job 22:23, 24

The fruit of God’s spirit is love and gentleness and vengeance and fury

The fruit of the spirit is love, peace, joy, gentleness, and goodness.        Gal 5:22

Compare:

And the spirit of the Lord came on him and he slew a thousand men.         Judg 15:14

And it came to pass on the morrow that the evil spirit from God came on Saul. . . And there was a javelin in Saul’s hand. And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall with it.        1 Sam 18:10, 11

The Christian yoke is easy and and not easy

Come to me all you that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke on you. . . . For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.         Matt 11:28, 29, 30

Elsewhere in the New Testament

In the world you shall have tribulation.       John 16:33

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.        2 tim. 3:12

Whom the Lord loves he chaveens, and scourges every son whom he receives . . . . For if you be without chaveisement then are you bastards and not sons.      Heb 12:6, 8

Grass?

All the grass on earth will be burned up

The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and firemixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.      Rev 8:7

and then an army of locusts will be turned loose with instructions not to harm the grass

They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.    Rev 9:4

Fear or Love God?

God said in his word - Fear and love cannot coexist

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment.  The one who fears is not made perfect in love.    1 John 4:18

God said - Love of God leads us to keep his commandments

This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his  commands.    1 John 5:2

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the
beginning, his command is that you walk in love.    2 John 6

God said - We should fear God because he can put us in hell

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.    Matt 10:28

But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has  authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.    Luke 12:5

It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.    Heb 10:31

Go to Hell

Anyone who has never heard of Jesus will go to hell.

18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.     John 3:18

Hidden teachings

Nothing is hidden

(Mark 4:22, John 18:20).

God conceals

Forgiveness

Will all sins be forgiven to the believer?

YES

(Acts 13:39, Col 2:13, 1 John 1:9).

God still remembers it

(Ex 34:7).

Are there any who are righteous?

NO

(Mark 10:18, Rom 3:10, 23, Ps 14:3, 1 John 1:8-10, 1 Kings 8:46).

NO - Paul says he is the chief sinner

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.     1 Tim 1:15

YES - But James 5:16 says yes

(also Gen 7:1, Job 1:1, 8, 2:3, Luke 1:5-6, 15:7).

Ezek 18 lists what one must do to be “just” (=righteous?).

True Christians do not sin

(1 John 3:6-9).

Noah was perfect

(Gen 6:9).

Burdens and troubles

God will relieve our burdens

(Matt 11:28, 30).

God will give us troubles and tribulations

(Heb 12:6, John 16:33).

God does both relieve and give

(Deut 32:39, 1 Sam 2:6-7).

“Bear one another’s burdens”

(Gal 6:2),

But what about “Every man shall bear his own burden

(Gal 6:5).

Are We Commanded to Baptize?

YES - Jesus says

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,     Matt 28:19

NO - Paul says no at

I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius,   so no one can say that you were baptized in my name.   1 Cor 1:14-15.

For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel--not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.    1 Cor 1:17.

Honor Father & Mother?

Jesus said to honor father and mother (Matt 15:4;Matt 19:19, Mark 7:10, 10:19, Luke 18:20),

But he required his disciples to hate father and mother (Luke 14:26), and

Jesus said that he came to turn the children against their parents (Matt 10:35, Luke 12:51-53).

“Call no man your father” (Matt 23:9).

But you should provide for your family (1 Tim 5:8).

YES

Paul says yes (Rom 5:13)

Paul says no (Rom 4:15).

Sex/Marriage

YES

NO

Paul says to avoid marriage and sex (1 Cor 7:1, 8, 37). But it is better to marry than to burn (v. 9).

Where is Satan?

Chained in hell (2 Pet 2:4, Jude 6).

Walking about in the earth (1 Pet 5:8 and Job 1:6-7; Job also says he occasionally visits heaven).

He is the god or prince of this world (John 12:31, 2 Cor 4:4, Eph 6:12).

He was “cast out” of the world at the time of Jesus (John 12:31).

Devils

Devils cannot tell a truth

(John 8:44).

Devils say that Jesus is the Messiah

(Luke 4:41).

Unbelief

It is caused by the devil

(Luke 8:12).

Sometimes by God

(2 Thess 2:11-12)

Sometimes by Jesus

(Mark 4:11-12).

Whose is the Earth?

Satan’s

Jesus

(1 Cor 10:26, Rev 1:5).

(Ex 9:29, 19:5, Deut 10:14, Ps 24:1, 50:12, 89:11).

Mankind’s

(Ps 115:16).

Enemies

Jesus says to forgive and bless your enemies (Matt 5:44).

But he will deny his enemies to God (Matt 10:32-33). God does not forgive his enemies, but condemns them.

Jesus says that some of his followers will be put to death (Luke 21:16).

But not a hair of their head will perish (v. 18).

Sabbath: Must we keep it?

YES

NO

(Isa 1:13, Hos 2:11).

Jesus did not keep it (Mark 2:27- 28, John 5:16, Math 12:1-8).

Paul says commandment was not permanent

(Rom 14:5, Col 2:16).

Catholics say they had the authority to change the Sabbath commandment to mean the day Sunday instead.

Original Sin

“Original sin”  means that all humanity is punished for Adam’s sin

(e.g Rom 5:12, 19, 1 Cor 15:22;)

Everyone Wants to Sit Next to Jesus in Heaven

James and John ask Jesus for a favor

35 Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him. “Teacher,” they said, “we want you to do for us whatever we ask.”
36 “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked.
37 They replied, “Let one of us sit at your right and the other at your left in your glory.            Mark 10:35-37

Their mother asked for her sons James and John

20 Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Jesus with her sons and, kneeling down, asked a favor of him.
21 “What is it you want?” he asked.  She said, “Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.”          Matt 20:20-21

26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”        Matthew 26:26

22 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take it; this is my body.”

23 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank from it.

24 “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many,” he said to them.

25 “Truly I tell you, I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”       Mark 14:22

The Roman Catholics state that the Eucharist is the natural body and blood of Christ Jesus verè et realiter.  Protestants agree with the Catholics and state that it is the body of Christ verè et realiter, then add spiritually by grace and efficacy.  ??? What ???

In the following passage Jesus commanded his believers to do a sacrament in rememberance of him:

19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”   Luke 22:19

20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.      Luke 22:20

This ritual of making bread wafer and wine (consecrated by a priest of course) into the actual body of a god has gone on for hundreds and thousands of years before the Jesus appointed birthdate.  In this manner, they ate their god.  And the Egyptians, who practiced this exact "sacrament" to Osirus possibly as long ago as 3150 years before any A.D. date.  The Worship of Osiris begins in Pre-Dynastic Period of Egypt. c. 3150 BCE - c. 30 BCE.  The bread and wine was brought to the temple by the worshipers.

Cicero, the greatest orator of Rome, and one of the most illustrious of Rome's statesmen, born in the year 106 B. C., mentions it in his writings his wonderings at the strangeness of the bread/wine rite.

"How can a man be so stupid," says he, "as to imagine that which he eats to be a God?"

From the beginings of the mysteries among the Pagans, the Eucharistia is one of the oldest rites of antiquity.

The followers of the Grand Lama in Tibet and Tartary offer to their god a sacrament of bread and wine.

The first Christian missionary that went to tibet, P. Andrada La Crozius, wrote about his findings in Tibet;

"Their Grand Lama celebrates a species of sacrifice with bread and wine, in which, after taking a small quantity himself, he distributes the rest among the Lamas present at this ceremony."

In the Indian and the Parsee religions, the devotees drink the juice of the Soma, or Haoma plant.  They consider it a god.  Mr. Baring Gould wrote:

"Among the ancient Hindoos, Soma was a chief deity; he is called 'the Giver of Life and of health,' the 'Protector,' he who is 'the Guide to Immortality.' He became incarnate among men, was taken by them and slain, and brayed in a mortar. But he rose in flame to heaven, to be the 'Benefactor of the World,' and the 'Mediator between God and Man.' Through communion with him in his sacrifice, man, (who partook of this god), has an assurance of immortality, for by that sacrament he obtains union with his divinity."

Pythagoras, the renown Grecian philosopher, was born about the year 570 B. C.  He performed this ceremony of the bread/wine sacrament he brought back from a visit to Egypt.

The "King of Righteousness," Melchizedek, "a priest of the Most High God," brought out BREAD and WINE as a sign or symbol of worship to experience God's presence.

Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High,    Genesis 14:18

The Rev. Dr. Milner stated;

"It was in offering up a sacrifice of bread and wine, instead of slaughtered animals, that Melchizedek's sacrifice differed from the generality of those in the old law, and that he prefigured the sacrifice which Christ was to institute in the new law from the same elements. No other sense than this can be elicited from the Scripture as to this matter; and accordingly the holy fathers unanimously adhere to this meaning."

This is wishful thinking to justify their pagan beliefs.  This bread and wine sacrament was offered to God and eaten before God by Jethro and the elders of Israel, [Exodus 18:12] and some of the mourning Israelites broke bread and drank "the cup of consolation," in remembrance of the departed, "to comfort them for the dead."

Persia—the religion of Mithra, the Mediator, the Redeemer and Saviour—that we find the sacrament of the Christians, and from which the Christians evidently borrowed from. Those who were initiated into the mysteries of Mithra, or became members, took the sacrament of bread and wine.

M. Renan, writing of Mithraicism, says:

"It had its mysterious meetings: its chapels, which bore a strong resemblance to little churches. It forged a very lasting bond of brotherhood between its initiates: it had a Eucharist, a Supper so like the Christian Mysteries, that good Justin Martyr, the Apologist, can find only one explanation of the apparent identity, namely, that Satan, in order to deceive the human race, determined to imitate the Christian ceremonies, and so stole them."

St. Justin, writes alluding to the bread wine ceremony:

"The apostles, in the commentaries written by themselves, which we call Gospels, have delivered down to us how that Jesus thus commanded them: He having taken bread, after he had given thanks,  said, Do this in commemoration of me; this is my body. And having taken a cup, and returned thanks, he said: This is my blood, and delivered it to them alone. Which thing indeed the evil spirits have taught to be done out of mimicry in the Mysteries and Initiatory rites of Mithra. "For you either know, or can know, that bread and a cup of water (or wine) are given out, with certain incantations, in the consecration of the person who is being initiated in the Mysteries of Mithra."

The Eucharist of the Lord and Saviour, as the Magi called Mithra, the second person in their Trinity, or their Eucharistic sacrifice, was always made exactly and in every respect the same as that of the orthodox Christians.

The Persian Magi introduced the worship of Mithra into Rome.  These mysteries were solemnized in a cave. In the process of initiation there, candidates were also administered the sacrament of bread and wine, and were marked on the forehead with the sign of the cross.

The ancient Greeks also had their "Mysteries," wherein they celebrated the sacrament of the Lord's Supper. The Rev. Robert Taylor, speaking of this, says:

"The Eleusinian Mysteries, or, Sacrament of the Lord's Supper, was the most august of all the Pagan ceremonies celebrated, more especially by the Athenians, every fifth year,  in honor of Ceres, the goddess of corn, who, in allegorical language, had given us her flesh to eat; as Bacchus, the god of wine, in like sense, had given us his blood to drink. . . . "From these ceremonies is derived the very name attached to our Christian sacrament of the Lord's Supper,—'those holy Mysteries;'—and not one or two, but absolutely all and every one of the observances used in our Christian solemnity. Very many of our forms of expression in that solemnity are precisely the same as those that appertained to the Pagan rite."

Prodicus (a Greek sophist of the 5th century B. C.) says that, the ancients worshiped bread as Demeter (Ceres) and wine as Dionysos (Bacchus);  therefore, when they ate the bread, and drank the wine, after it had been consecrated, they were doing as the Romanists claim to do at the present day, i. e., eating the flesh and drinking the blood of their god.  Mosheim, the celebrated ecclesiastical historian, acknowledges that:

"The profound respect that was paid to the Greek and Roman Mysteries, and the extraordinary sanctity that was attributed to them, induced the Christians of the second century, to give their religion a mystic air, in order to put it upon an equal footing in point of dignity, with that of the Pagans. For this purpose they gave the name of Mysteries to the institutions of the Gospels, and decorated particularly the 'Holy Sacrament' with that title; they used the very terms employed in the Heathen Mysteries, and adopted some of the rites and ceremonies of which those renowned mysteries consisted. This imitation began in the eastern provinces; but, after the time of Adrian, who first introduced the mysteries among the Latins, it was followed by the Christians who dwelt in the western part of the empire. A great part, therefore, of the service of the Church in this—the second—century, had a certain air of the Heathen Mysteries, and resembled them considerably in many particulars."

These mysteries were, as we have said, also celebrated in honor of Bacchus as well as Ceres. A consecrated cup of wine was handed around after supper, called the "Cup of the Agathodaemon"—the Good Divinity.  Throughout the whole ceremony, the name of the Lord was many times repeated, and his brightness or glory not only exhibited to the eye by the rays which surrounded his name (or his monogram, I. H. S.), but was made the peculiar theme or subject of their triumphant exultation.

The mystical wine and bread were used during the Mysteries of Adonis, the Lord and Saviour.  In fact, the communion of bread and wine was used in the worship of nearly every important deity.

The rites of Bacchus were celebrated in the British Islands in heathen times,  and so were those of Mithra, which were spread over Gaul and Great Britain.  We therefore find that the ancient Druids offered the sacrament of bread and wine, during which ceremony they were dressed in white robes,  just as the Egyptian priests of Isis were in the habit of dressing, and as the priests of many Christian sects dress at the present day.

Among some negro tribes in Africa there is a belief that "on eating and drinking consecrated food they eat and drink the god himself."

The ancient Mexicans celebrated the mysterious sacrament of the Eucharist, called the "most holy supper," during which they ate the flesh of their god. The bread used at their Eucharist was made of corn meal, which they mixed with blood, instead of wine. This was consecrated by the priest, and given to the people, who ate it with humility and penitence, as the flesh of their god.  Lord Kingsborough, in his "Mexican Antiquities," speaks of the ancient Mexicans as performing this sacrament; when they made a cake, which they called Tzoalia. The high priest blessed it in his manner, after which he broke it into pieces, and put it into certain very clean vessels. He then took a thorn of maguery, which resembles a thick needle, with which he took up with the utmost reverence single morsels, which he put into the mouth of each individual, after the manner of a communion.  The writer of the "Explanation of Plates of the Codex Vaticanus,"—which are copies of Mexican hieroglyphics—says:

"I am disposed to believe that these poor people have had the knowledge of our mode of communion, or of the annunciation of the gospel; or perhaps the devil, most envious of the honor of God, may have led them into this superstition, in order that by this ceremony he might be adored and served as Christ our Lord."  The Rev. Father Acosta says: "That which is most admirable in the hatred and presumption of Satan is, that he hath not only counterfeited in idolatry and sacrifice, but also in certain ceremonies, our Sacraments, which Jesus Christ our Lord hath instituted and the holy Church doth use, having especially pretended to imitate in some sort the Sacrament of the Communion, which is the most high and divine of all others."

He then relates how the Mexicans and Peruvians, in certain ceremonies, ate the flesh of their god, and called certain morsels of paste, "the flesh and bones of Vitzilipuzlti."

"After putting themselves in order about these morsels and pieces of paste, they used certain ceremonies with singing, by means whereof they (the pieces of paste) were blessed and consecrated for the flesh and bones of this idol."

These facts show that the Eucharist is another piece of Paganism adopted by the Christians. The story of Jesus and his disciples being at supper, where the Master did break bread, may be true, but the statement that he said, "Do this in remembrance of me,"—"this is my body," and "this is my blood," was undoubtedly invented to give authority to the mystic ceremony, which had been borrowed from Paganism.

Why should they do this in remembrance of Jesus? Provided he took this supper with his disciples—which the John narrator denies [According to the "John" narrator, Jesus ate no Paschal meal, but was captured the evening before Passover]—he did not do anything on that occasion new or unusual among Jews. To pronounce the benediction, break the bread, and distribute pieces thereof to the persons at table, was, and is now, a common usage of the Hebrews. Jesus could not have commanded born Jews to do in remembrance of him what they already practiced, and what every religious Jew does to this day. The whole story is evidently a myth, as a perusal of it with the eye of a critic clearly demonstrates.

The Mark narrator informs us that Jesus sent two of his disciples to the city, and told them this:

13 So he sent two of his disciples, telling them, “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him. 14 Say to the owner of the house he enters, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 15 He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there.”

16 The disciples left, went into the city and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover.          Mark 14:13-16

It is interesting to note that a man in Jerusalem should have had an unoccupied and properly furnished room just at that time, when two millions of pilgrims sojourned in and around the city. The man, it appears, was not distinguished either for wealth or piety, for his name is not mentioned; he was not present at the supper, and no further reference is made to him. It appears rather that the Mark narrator imagined an ordinary man who had a furnished room to let for such purposes, and would imply that Jesus knew it prophetically.

The Matthew narrator's account is free from these embellishments, and simply runs thus: Jesus said to some of his disciples—the number is not given —

18 He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’” 19 So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.        Matthew 26:18-19

As early as the second century, however, the seeds were planted, when we find Ignatius, Justin Martyr, and Irenæus advancing the opinion, that the mere bread and wine became, in the Eucharist, something higher— something heavenly —without, however, ceasing to be bread and wine.  After the third century the task of presenting the bread and wine came to be confined to the ministers or priests.  As in Christ Jesus two distinct natures, the divine and the human, were wonderfully combined, so in the Eucharist there was a corresponding union of the earthly and the heavenly.

Transubstantiation is the invisible change of the bread and wine into the body and blood of Christ.  The credulity of the age, with its love for the wonderful and magical, the interest of the priesthood to add lustre, in accordance with the heathens, to a rite which enhanced their own priestly office, resulted in the doctrine of Transubstantiation being declared an article of faith of the Christian Church.  Luther maintained a corporeal, and Calvin a real presence of Christ in the Eucharist; and the opinion of Zuinglius, that it is no more than a spiritual communion, a simple memorial, has slowly prevailed in the reformed churches.

At the present day, the Greek and Roman Catholics alone hold to the original doctrine of the real presence.  Of all the religious observances among heathens, Jews, or Turks, none has been the cause of more hatred, persecution, outrage, and bloodshed, than the Eucharist. Christians persecuted one another like relentless foes, and thousands of Jews were slaughtered on account of the Eucharist and the Host.

Constantine Created the Name "Jesus"

Hail Zeus.  Constantine created the “universal” or “Catholic” religion to stop religious factions from waring against each other.  In doing this he made an amalgamation name from the names from all the religious factions.  That amalgamation name was “Jesus Christ.”

council of NiceaCouncil of Nicea

The Making of “The Name” at Nicaea

The name Jesus is not a Hebrew name. The name “Jesus Christ” or “Christ Jesus” was a name created at the Council of Nicaea.  The name united two of the major religious factions at that time.  It was an amalgamation of names.

The name “Jesus” was derived from the name Hesus of the Druids, Joshua of the Israelites, Horus / Iusa of the of the Egyptians, IES / Iesios of the Dionysians / Samothracians, Zeus of the Greeks……

…..and the word “Christ” derived from Krishna/Christos of India, the Anointed Jews (Christ means anointed), and KRST of Egypt.

***No "Jesus" Name on Original Manuscripts***

The name “Jesus Christ” did not appear in any Greek or Latin writings before the Council of Nicaea.  They called it a "sacred abbreviation" ... It was two letters of the Greek alphabet .... similarly looking like an "I E" in English.

Later manuscripts had different sacred abbreviations.

The name Yi-Zeus

Constantine worshiped the Sun. “Yio-Zeus” in Greek means “Dawn of Zeus.” Zeus was the king of the gods. Is this name a close resemblance to the sound of the name “Jesus”? [People don’t like pronouncing double vowels and drop the second vowel].   Coincidence?

Zeus is the Greek form of sanskrit Dyhaus pitar, “Father Heaven.”  The name is linked with Babylonian myths of Zu the storm bird, a thrower of thunderbolts.  The Romans called him Jupiter or Jove;  The European Christians substituted the word Jesus for Zeus.

The name ie-Zeus

It is written that the word ie was a common shout by the people meaning “hail.”  This word would be followed by the emperor’s name, as in ie-Cesar.  In this case it would be “Hail Zeus.”   This is a natural sound of human expression the dictionary defines as; Used as an exclamation of pleasure, approval, elation, or victory; the word “Yay.”

ie ZeusJe-Zeus

Jesus was a Common Greek Name.

The name Jesus appears to have been fairly common at the time of Christ’s life.  (Josephus, “Ant.”, XV, ix, 2; XVII, xiii, 1; XX, ix, 1; “Bel. Jud.”, III, ix, 7; IV, iii, 9; VI, v, 5; “Vit.”, 22)

Was the name Jesus was imposed by God’s express order???

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,   Philippians 2:9

And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a Son, and shalt call His name Jesus.  Luke 1:31

And she shall bring forth a Son, and thou shalt call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21

Hesus, of the Keltic Druids 834 BCE

Hesus is the God of the Druids having been crucified with a lamb on one side and an elephant on the other side. A representation of this can be seen on the fire-tower of Brechin. The symbolism of the Elephant is that it is the largest animal in the world and represents all the sins of the world. The symbolism of the lamb is one of innocence and represents the victim. Christian use this same symbolism by saying “the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.” This infers that Jesus was the victim and takes away the sins of the world. This legend is found among the Canutes of Gaul.

IES / Iesios of the Dionysians/Samothracians

In Greek the name stated to be the translation of Jesus is spelled iesous.  Adding up the gematria assigned to each Greek letter of the name the total comes to 888.

I   E   S   O   U   S

10 + 8 + 200 + 70 + 400 + 200  =  888

Each of the 24 letters of the Greek alphabet when all are added up, the total of their assigned gematria number equivalent totals 888.  888 is considered a luck number.

In Pythagoreans teachings 888 is the string ratio of a whole tone (666 is the string ratio of a perfect fifth). Pythagoras worked out the frequency ratios (or string length ratios with equal tension) and found that they had a particular mathematical relationship.

The octave was found to be a 1:2 ratio and what we today call a fifth to be a 2:3 ratio. Pythagoras concluded that all the notes could be produced by these two ratios as (3/2)*(3/2)*(1/2) gave 9/8 which is a second and so on.

Numerology was very popular during the timeframe assigned to the life of Jesus Christ.

Horus AKA Iusa of the Egyptians

Iusa was represented as both the ass and the ox, or the short horned bullock in the cult of Atum-Ra.  The ox and the ass along with worshipers of an infant child found in the catacombs of Rome are representative of Iusa and not Jesus.

The story of Jesus riding on two asses in one version, and on an ass and the foal of an ass in another version, was in the triumphal procession to Jerusalem.  This is another example of Jesus doing the same thing Iusa did.  Iusa was the Egyptian Jesus story of the Kamite mythos 2500 B.C.  The youthful son-god rode upon an ass as Isua or as “Horus with the royal countenance.”

Krishna AKA Christos of India

Krishna disciples also gave him the title of “Jezeus” or “Jeseus” which means pure essence.  Krsna in Sanskrit.  This god’s worship can be traced back to the 400 B.C.E.

In present day, Krishna is one of the most widely revered and most popular of all Indian divinities.

KRST of Egypt

Horus is read as KRST.

Walk on water? KRST (Horus) did it! Jesus restored sight to the blind?  Horus did that a few thousand years before.  Crucified in a very dramatic trial next to two thieves?  Yes KRST (Horus) did that also.

Christians Say Yashua

Today a large number of Christians admit that the name Jesus is “mis-translation” and the real name is Yashua.  Yashua sounds like a different name.  There is no “eee” sound in the name that so dominates the word Jesus.    The “ah” sound found twice in the name Yashua is non-existent in the name Jesus. The “oo” sound in Yashua is not found in the name Jesus.  The “uh” sound in Jesus is not found in the name Yashua.

Messiah Name

Based on Psalm 72:17 many Jewish sages believe that the actual name of the Messiah will be Ianun.

What does the "Word of God" say his name is?

It's a secret. No one knows his name.

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.       Revelation 19:12

Jesus

The angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS.       Matthew 1:21

The bright and morning star

I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.       Revelation 22:16

Since Christians (wrongly) believe that the words of Isaiah 9:6 refer to Jesus, I guess I should add the names in this verse to the list.
[Ever heard anyone (other than the Book of Mormon) call Jesus "the everlasting Father"?]

Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.      Isaiah 9:6

Messiah Requirements

Jesus Messiah?

Image removed.

Jesus MESSIAH REQUIREMENTS???

NOT.  The Christians constantly proclaim that Jesus was the Messiah, and that he fulfilled all the requirements described in the Old Testament. The Torah (Old Testament) describes six criteria which must be fulfilled before a person can be declared the Messiah.

1.  He must be the direct descendant of King David and King Solomon

2.  He must be anointed King of Israel

3.  He must return the Jewish people to Israel

4.  He must rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem

5.  He must bring peace to the world and end all war.

6.  He must bring knowledge of God to the whole world

1  Genealogy

The Messiah must be Jewish and from the Tribe of Judah.  Since Jesus had no birth father he is not from the Tribe of Judah. He must be from the linage of David.   If Jesus was adopted by Joseph then Jesus is not qualified to be the Messiah since adoption does not affiliate one to a Tribe. The Messiah must be from the seed of Solomon.  Luke claimed that Jesus descended from Nathan, David’s other brother.  Thus Luke eliminates Jesus as the Messiah. The genealogies vary as much as 15 generations more from the gospel of Matthew to the gospel of Luke.  And who was the grandfather of Jesus?  Matthew says it was Jacob.  Luke says it was Heli.  Matthew and Luke have totally different people in the linage of Jesus.  And according to Luke, Joseph was 300 years older than Mary (assuming a generation is 20 years times 15 generations).  I think this was the origin of the “May-December relationship” expression.

2  Anointed King

Messiah means anointed with oil.  This is in the context of anointing a King as King Saul and King Solomon were anointed with oil by the prophet Samuel.  Kings were anointed with oil by High Priests and Prophets to give authenticity to the King.

Matthew claimed that John the Baptist was Elijah the prophet (Matthew 11:11-14, 17:12-13).

The Gospel of John claimed that John the Baptist was NOT Elijah (John 1:21).

Jesus claimed he was king of an other worldly kingdom (John 18:36).  When governor Pilate asked Jesus if he was he king of the Jews,  Jesus answered “Yes.”

Jesus was anointed on his head and his feet by two nameless women, and before his burial.  These women were not prophets and there was no indication in the New Testament that these anointings bestowed kingship.

3  Bring the Jewish People Back

Shortly after Jesus’s death the people were expelled from Israel, the opposite of what the Messiah will do.

He will arise a banner for the nations and assemble the cast-aways of Israel; and He will gather in the dispersed ones of Judah from the four corners of the earth.  Isaiah 11:12

It shall be on that day the Hashem will thresh, from the surging [Euphrates] river to the Brook of Egypt, and you [Israel] will be gathered up one by one, O Children of Israel.  It shall be on that day that a great shofar will be blown, and those who are lost in  the  land of Assyria and those cast away in the land of Egypt will come [together], and they will prostrate themselves to Hashem on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.    Isaiah 27:12-13

I will return the captivity of Judah and captivity of Israel, and will rebuild them as at first.   Jeremiah 33:7

4  Rebuild the Temple

The Temple was standing during the life of Jesus.  It was destroyed shortly after his death.  Where is the Temple that Jesus rebuilt?

I will seal a covenant of peace with them: it will be an eternal covenant with them:  and I will emplace them and increase them, and I will place My Sanctuary among them; I will be a God to them and they will be a people to Me.  Then the nations will know that I am Hashem who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary will be among them forever.  Ezekiel 37:26-28

It will be in the end of days that the Mountain of the Temple of Hashem will be firmly established as the most prominent of the mountains, and it will be exalted up about the hills, and peoples will stream to it.   Micah 4:1

It will happen in the end of days; The Mountain of the Temple of Hashem will be firmly established as the head of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills, and all the nations will stream to it.  Many peoples will go and say, ‘Come let us go up to the Mountain of Hashem, to the Temple of the God of Jacob, and he will teach us of His ways and we will walk in His paths.’  Isaiah 2:2-3

5  Bring Peace to the World and End All War

Jesus certainly did not bring peace to the world.  Israel was destroyed shortly after the death of Jesus.  The last 2000 years have been the most violent period in History, much of which the Catholic Church was responsible for.  Since Israel has been established in 1948 it has experienced nothing but wars.

I will seal a covenant of peace with them; it will be an eternal covenant with them; and I will emplace them and increase them, and I will place My Sanctuary among them forever.  Ezekiel 37:26

He will judge between many peoples, and will settle the arguments of mighty nations from far away.  They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning knives; nation will not lift sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore.  Micah 4:3

He will judge among the nations, and will settle the arguments of many peoples.  They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks;  nation will not lift sword against nation and they will no longer study warfare.  Isaiah 2:4

6  Bring Knowledge of God to the World

Jesus did NOT bring knowledge of God to the world.  Christians admit that their God the Trinity is a “mystery.”  Just the fact the Christians proselytize to make people believe in what God is, is proof that there is no knowledge of God in the world.

They will neither injure nor destroy in all of My sacred mountain; for the earth will be as filled with knowledge of Hashem as water covering the sea bed.  Isaiah 11:9

The glory of Hashem will be revealed, and all flesh together will see that the mouth of Hashem has spoken.   Isaiah 40:5

For then I will change the nations [to speak] a pure language, so that they all will proclaim the Name of Hashem, to worship Him with a united resolve.       Zephaniah 3:9

They will no longer teach – each man his fellow, each man his brother – saying, ‘know Hashem!  for all of them will know Me, from their smallest to their greatest – the word of Hashem – when I will forgive their iniquity and will no longer recall their sin.’   Jeremiah 31:33

He is Coming Again?  What?

And as a final note, there is no mention even remotely of any “second coming” in the Torah.  It is an utter fabrication by the Christians to give credibility to their imaginings.  In the investment world it’s called “pie in the sky” referring to getting some reward in the future, that seems impossible to reasonably believe you would get such a big return.  And in reality, the return never comes.  The reality that comes is the feeling of being a fool.

The Messiah is NOT going to be put to death!!!

From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.   Matthew 16:21

31 He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again.

32 He spoke plainly about this, and Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.   Mark 8:31-32

Then he [Jesus] took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem and all things that arewritten by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished.  For he will be delivered to the Gentiles and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon.  They will scourge him and kill him and the third day he will rise again.”    Luke 18:31-33

Where is this written by the prophets?????????

It isn’t !!!!!!!!!!!  The New Testament is the Word of God???  I don’t think so.

“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Messiah.”   Mark 8:29

The disciples of Jesus knew the Messiah was not to be killed.

The disciples did not understand any of this. Its meaning was hidden from them, and they did not know what he was talking about.  Luke 18:34

Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”    Matthew 16:22

Jesus Historical

Jesus Historical?

Everyone loves a story.  They don’t even care if it’s false, as long as it is entertaining.  If someone says it’s a true story, they will believe it because it was such a good story.

The SUPER HERO story

The ultimate story for the everyday man is the “idol worship HERO” story.

This story has been told since the dawn of history.   It involves a hero that is God like, half man half God.  There is an imenent severe problem where everyone will be hurt, and only he can rescue the day.  He overcomes the challenge and everyone respects him and he can get the girl of his choice.

Then there is the Ultimate HERO story.  It personifies God as the Hero.  It involves a human that had a divine birth that was special.  It involves a predicted birth and a supernatural conception.  As a child of age 13 this individual was exceedingly wise compared to the smartest adults of the time.  He escapes a mean ruthless ruler that want to kill him because the sooth sayers have predicted he will be just and overthrow the ruler.  He has a divine calling and fights demons.  He becomes popular and is hailed as a king.  Then the tide turns and he is betrayed and is not popular, and then he is executed.  This execution is often on a hilltop.  Then our hero is vindicated and taken to heaven where he reins there.

This story has been going on forever and is seen in the characters of Hercules, Apollonius of Tyana, Padma Sambhava, Gautama Buddha, Krishna, just to name a few.  There are many variants of this story but the drama is always the same.

The Jesus story fits this God HERO story almost perfectly.  Which makes it suspect as to it’s authenticity.  Man’s desire to idol worship is so great.  Both temples were destroyed because of idol worship.  This idol worship includes the desire for everyone to idol worship even the story teller, themselves, by revering them as knowing the answer to life.  So verification of the historical events of an idol worship story is so important.

History——————————————–

FORTY-ONE known and respected Historians of the time period have written NOTHING about Jesus !!!  There were also THREE HUNDRED known writers that wrote about life in those times.  Not one mentioned Jesus or any of the fantastic stories that allegedly occurred in the New Testament.

1. Being born of a virgin mother;

2. Three Magi following the brightest star forever to see the demigod;

3. The slaying of the innocent babies [Infanticide];

4. Raising the dead, healing the blind and lame;

4. Having the sky turn to blackness when Jesus died;

5. Earthquakes in the region;

6. The zombie saints coming out of their graves going to Jerusalem; and

7. The Resurrection [Risen How?]

At least one of these world headline news events would have at least a small mention by at least one of the foregoing historians and prolific writers.   But, NO…NO … they are totally silent!

Nothing about the miracles, nothing about the dead Saints BODIES rising to life from the their graves after the crucifixion and walking around the city and appeared to people, as is depicted in the New Testament.

52 The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.

53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.      Matthew 27:52

Nothing was written about the fantastical story of mass infanticide throughout the region.  Herod’s wickedness was documented but he was not stupid enough to do something that would make the whole population riot.

When Herod saw that the wise men had tricked him, he was furious. So he gave an order to kill all the baby boys in Bethlehem and in the surrounding area who were two years old or younger. This was in keeping with the time he learned from the wise men.      Matthew 2:16

The quote of Jeremiah 3:14 in Matthew 2:18 is taken out of context to try and get credibility by alledging the event (killing of baby boys) happened and was prophesied.

18 “A voice is heard in Ramah,
weeping and great mourning,
Rachel weeping for her children
and refusing to be comforted,
because they are no more.”      Matthew 2:18

The weeping is about the offspring of Rachael being killed in war (grown men in battle).  Here is the full text of Jeremiah chapter 3 ==>  Jeremiah Chapter 3.

What about the walking on water???  how about the feeding 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fishes???

Nothing about the huge amount … 470 Roman soldiers … that were sent to rescue …. Paul (???)…from the crowds, and the Romans kept good records.

23 Then he called two of his centurions and ordered them, “Get ready a detachment of two hundred soldiers, seventy horsemen and two hundred spearmen to go to Caesarea at nine tonight.

24 Provide horses for Paul so that he may be taken safely to Governor Felix.”   Matthew 23:23

It seems these historians didn’t write anything because they had already passed away in the first part of the first century.  So the third century (325 B.C.) story writing of the New Testament was completed then.  And there would be no witnesses for several centuries to refute the story telling.

Josephus who wrote in 93 C.E. with a vague reference …. however there are two versions.  Someone added to the original.

The first version made a reference to “James, the brother of Jesus. with the translator at his own whim adding to his translation a phrase that he thought should have been written.  The added phrase was  “known as the Christ.”  This phrase was added.

The second version is much longer and is known to have been added by someone who altered the original text.  It was a statement to bolster Christianity.

Two Yeishus

There were two Yeishus from the areas around Jerusalem that were special and were written about in the Jewish Talmud.

YEISHU BEN PANDIRA

This Yeishu was stoned to death and hung on a tree.  His crimes were treason and sorcery.  He died on the eve of Passover in Jerusalem.  This happened during the reign of Alexander Jannaeus (106 to 79 BCE).  This occurred 100 years before the alleged birth of the Christian Jesus-God.

This Yeishu had five disciples whose names were; Mattai, Naqi, Neitzer, Buni, and Todah. The disciple name Mattai is a close name to Matthew and could be where the name Matthew came from.

YEISHU BEN STADA

This Yeishu lived 100 years after the Jesus-God’s alleged birth.  He was also stoned and hanged for treason and sorcery on the eve of Passover.  But his death occurred in Lydda not Jerusalem.  It is said that he brought spells from Egypt in a cut in his flesh.  He was called a madman.  He was caught by hidden witnesses.

Note:

Neither was crucified on a cross.  Both were 100 years apart from the alledged birth date of the Jesus-God.

In 160 C.E. the Bishop of Melito of Sardis went to Judea to find the legendary Christian Church.  What he found was that there was NO DECENDANTS of any of the aledged apostles.  (Ludemann,G 1995, 31).  He found a small group of Gnostics who called themselves Ebonites (poor men).  They had their own sacred texts;

links--

PISTIS SOPHIA,

Gospel of the Ebonites,

GOSPEL OF THE HEBREWS,

Gospel of the Twelve Apostles,

GOSPEL OF THE NAZIRENES.

These texts varied significantly from the New Testament of today. Irenaeus leaves no doubt that Ebonites were Gnostics (Ludemann 247, note 111).  Epiphanius stated the Ebonites were vegitarians, a fact that is universally accepted as being Gnostic.

When the infamous church propagandist Eusebius addressed this fact he stated that everyone in the Judean church had become heretics.

Irenaeus.  –  also referred to as Saint Irenaeus, was Bishop of Lugdunum in Gaul, then a part of the Roman Empire. He was an early Church Father and apologist, and his writings were formative in the early development of Christian theology.

Eusebius of Caesarea.  –  also known as Eusebius Pamphili, was a Roman historian, exegete, and Christian polemicist of Greek descent. He became the bishop of Caesarea Maritima about 314.

The evidence is that the first century church had always been made up exclusively of different sects of Gnostics.  These Gnostics went by a different “New Testament” than the current Catholic decreed version.

The Writings

The Writings

The Writings

The history of Jesus comes to us exclusively from the 4 gospels.  This fact alone makes the story suspect.  Such a huge super-hero story and no one person wrote about any of the super events!
The 27 books of the NT are attributed to 8 authors that contain over 200 admitted forgeries.
These gospels were allegedly written somewhere around the end of the second century, around 200 years after the supposed birth of the super-hero Jesus (200 yrs is a very very long time).  Coincidentally it was the same time period of the establishing of the orthodoxy and supremacy of the Roman Church.

These books were not translations of Jewish apostles written in Hebrew or Aramaic texts as one would expect, but were originally penned by someone in Greekwhose native language was Greek.  In over 100 places the very Greek word “Petros” appears as being said by Hebrew speaking Jews in dialogue.  The Greek texts are very cultivated and contain many rhetorical devices that would only be used by someone whose native language was Greek.

There were over 100 different versions of the gospels in circulation at the time of canonization by the Roman Church.  This fixing of the final text was done by the Church father, the Bishop of Lyons, Irenaeus (died around 200 CE) who chose the gospel books to be only 4 based on “the 4 corners of the world.”   This comment clearly show it comes from Masonic tradition – the four books of magic of the Egyptian Ritual.

All the gospels appear to have been written from a common source;  from the “Gospel of the Lord” published in Rome written by the Gnostic-Christian Marcion.  It resembles Luke but much shorter.  There was just one gospel and an “Apostolicon” which contained ten of Paul’s epistles; Galatians, 1st and 2nd Corinthians, Romans, (less 15 & 16 chapters), 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, Ephesians Colossians, Philemon, Philippians.  The two chapters of Romans that were added were historicizing where there is no historicizing in the other epistles. The gospel that Paul referred to in these added chapters was termed the Gospel of Paul.  Marcion claimed he found it in Antioch and brought it to Rome to be translated to Latin and Greek.

Gospel of the Lord

This text clearly predated the church gospels.  Written in the Syro-Chaldee or Samaritan language, was not historical and did not make Jesus a Jew.   He was not born in Bethlehem and was not from Nazareth (did not exist at that time).  Jesus was not born but “came down in Capernaum” and incarnated a century earlier.  Since there was no historicizing and no Judaizing Marcion was called a heretic, and accused of removing text instead of the accusing church adding to his text.

The Gospel of Luke

Written around the time of the other gospels, 180CE, as the Catholic Encyclopedia states, “Luke was not written til nearly 200 years after the event of Jesus’s departure.  The proof offered is that the Theophilus to whom Luke addressed it was bishop of Antioch from 169-177 A.D.”
Luke is a compilation of earlier manuscripts, 33 by one count, mainly from the Gospel of the Lord.  Phrases were added to sentences to historicize and to Judaize Jesus
An example follows

Marcion:

Saying, the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be put to death, and after three days rise again.

Luke 9:22:

Saying, “The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.”

Also the mourning over Jerusalem (Luke 8:29-35) is taken verbatim from the 2nd Esdras (I. 28-33) and the speaking by the “Almighty Lord” is changed to Jesus being the speaker.

The Gospel of Mark

After the total destruction of Jerusalem by Romans in 135 CE the city was closed to the Jewish race occupied by Gentiles.  After the bishops of Circumcision, the first to be put in charge was Mark according to Eusebius, 108.  This could not be the Mark of the New Testament but could be the Gnostic Mark known as Marcion.  Upon comparison, Matthew, Mark, and Luke used Marcion text as one of their sources.
It is clear that the Book of Mark was tampered with since the resurrection, apparition, asscention was added to the end (Mark 16:9-20).
Other texts were added.  In Mark 1:16 it says;

“And passing along by the sea of Galilee he saw Simon and Andrew ..”

All commentaries agree the words “by the sea of Galilee were added as they are quite ungrammatically placed for the Greek syntax.  It was an attempt to reference a place to historicize.
Mark was clearly not a Palestine Jew or lived in the area as Mark 7:31 shows his ignorance of Palestine geography.

31 Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis.

The Gospel of John

The tone of this gospel is anti-Jewish as the author talked about Jews as if they were separate and apart from himself.
And he had no idea of the geography of Palestine.

Gospel of John speaks of Aenon near to Salim in Judea; also Bethany, beyond Jordan; and a “city of Samaria called Sychar; these names were totally unknown to any writer anywhere.  Expert Dr. Bretschneider1 points out  gross errors through out the book in geography, chronology, history and statistics of Judea that anyone who resided in that country, or had been a Jew by birth would never have made.

John states Bethsaida was in Galilee. No such town ever was.  John states Bethsaida was on the east side of the sea of Tiberias when Talilee was on the west side.  John was born at Bethsaida so he would certainly know the geography of his birth area.
John depicts events where he is not shown to have appeared at.  And John does not record events at which he is supposed to be present.
This is the only gospel that records the raising of Lasarus from the dead, which is an Egyptian myth.
The gospel seems to be a refutation of the Gnostics.

1 treatise on the Gospel of John, entitled Probabilia de evangelii et epistolarum Ioannis Apostoli indole et origine cruditorum,

The Gospel of Matthew

This gospel was originally written in Greek.  It did not appear until after the second century.  It is a compellation of several manuscripts based mostly from the Oracles of Christ.  The main point of the book is that it leads people to believe in the authority of the Roman church.   Jesus said to Peter On this rock I will build my church and it will have the keys to heaven.  By canonizing this book it guaranteed the success of the Catholic Church since the “word of God” gave authorization to the church.

18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”       Matt 16:17-19

Epistles - Paul was dead when He Wrote them

Never any historical reference.   Nothing of Pilate, Romans, Caiaphas, Sanhdrin,  Herod, Judas, the holy women of the Gospels, or any person in the New Testament.

They never quote any of the great sayings by Jesus.  They never mention any of his fabulous miracles, or divine splendor.  Not a peep about Jesus casting out devils, or feed a mass of people with a few loafs of bread and a couple of fish. Or curing leprosy in an instant.  Never came close to any mention contained in the sermons or teachings of Jesus.

The Lords Prayer is clearly written out and was composed by Jesus himself.  Yet Paul in his epistles expresses that he does not know how to pray.

Paul was said to have died during  the persecution by Nero in 64C.E.  Yet the Church dates the epistles as written much later.  In the First Epistle of Paul to Timothy it warns against the Marcionist work know as the Antithesis.  Marcion was expelled from the church in 144 C.E.  Yet the this Epistle refers to the book he wrote that caused his expulsion.  The Epistle had to have been written after the book was written, and thus after the death of Paul.  Proof of a forgery.

The First Epistle of Paul to Timothy, the Second Epistle of Paul to Timothy, and the Epistle of Paul to Titus are called “pastoral” Epistles.  Pastoral means that these letters were written by Paul himself.  The other epistles, or non-pastoral epistles, were written with his friends such as Sosthenes, Timothy, Silas, etc.

The dates attributed to the writing of the Epistles are based on what is contained in the writing and not on any carbon 14 dates of any document.  Carbon dating of alleged authentic written pieces of the gospels and epistles have come back with an approximate date of 325 C.E.

Epistles Don’t Have

Epistles were the earliest Christian documents.  They were written allegedly 20 to 70 years after the death of Jesus, according to the Church.  Jesus is said to have died between 28 to 36 C.E.  The Epistles never mention a Gospel.  The Gospels it is said were written after the Epistles.

The Epistles talk of a divine Christ but never mention Jesus as a human.

The Epistles never say anything about the history or the time.

The Epistles never say anything about the sayings of Jesus.

The Epistles never say anything about the parables of Jesus.

The Epistles never say anything about the miracles of Jesus.

The Epistles never say anything about the last supper.

The Epistles never say anything about any historical events happening then regarding the death of Jesus.

The Epistles never say anything about the crucifixion of Jesus.

The Epistles never say anything about the empty tomb of Jesus.

The Epistles never say anything about Jesus rising from the tomb.

The Epistles never say anything about the events Jesus did around Jerusalem.

Encyclopedia Bilblica Quote

” With respect to the connonical Pauline Epistles, … there are none of them by Paul; neither fourteen, nor thirteen, nor nine or eight, nor yet even the four so long “universally” regarded as unassailable.  They are all, without distinction, pseudographia (false-writings, forgeries) …”

Con Creating “God’s Word”

At the time of the formation of Christianity there were about thirty Gospels, and over 200 other books which were considered.  The writings chosen by the Catholics at the Council of Nicea were, according to Christian scholars, alledgedly written 40 to 70 years after the death of Jesus.  Secular scholars say much later, around 200 years after the death of Jesus.  All eye witnesses would have been dead by the time of any writings.

The first writing of the story surrounding the life of Jesus was the Book of Mark. Mark does not claim to be an eyewitness of the events nor a disciple of Jesus,  Mark was allegedly a disciple of Peter.

Matthew copied about 90% of the Book of Mark (600 verses out of 660).  If he was an eye witness he would not have copied the whole Book of Mark.

Luke also copied the Book of Mark, about 50% of the Book. Luke does not claim to be eye witnesses nor to be a disciple of Jesus.  Luke was allegedly a disciple of Paul.

The Christian “Word of God” is mostly copied,

and then what is written is by people who were not disciples of Jesus,

and then these writings the very earliest possible according to the Christian scholars were written 40 to 70 years after the death of Jesus.

Altered

Many scholars believe that the Gospels were originally independent works written in Greek by unknown authors.  And they were repeatedly altered over time.

Christians altered the original text three or four times, or even more, with the intention of thus being able to destroy the arguments of their critics.

Celsus, last half of 2nd century

It is an obvious fact today that there is much diversity among the [Gospel] manuscripts, due either to the carelessness of the scribes, or the perverse audacity of some people in correcting the text, or again to the fact that there are those who add or delete as they please, setting themselves up as correctors.

Christian Theologian Origen, 3rd century

Not long after [Jesus] ascension into heaven several histories of his life and doctrines, full of pious frauds and fabulous wonders, were composed by persons whose intentions perhaps were not bad, but whose writings discovered the greatest superstition and ignorance.   Nor was this all; productions appeared which were imposed upon the world by fraudulent men, as the writings of the holy apostles.

Ecclesiastical History, Von Mosheim 1810

It is certain that the New Testament was not written by [Jesus] himself, nor by his apostles, but a long while after them, by some unknown persons, who lest they should not be credited when they wrote of affairs they were little acquainted with, affixed to their works the name of the apostles, or of such as were supposed to have been their companions, asserting that what they had written themselves was written according to these persons to whom they ascribed it.

The Digenesis,  Robert Taylor  1873

Although he was dealing with fewer manuscripts [New Testament] than we have today, Philip Shaff in Comparison to the Greek Testament and the English Version concluded that only 400 or the 150,000 variant readings [New Testament] caused doubt about the textual meaning, and only 50 of these were of great significance.

Josh McDowel, Evidence that Demands a Verdict, 1979

What? 50 variants with major doubts as to the material meanings of the verses?

How about the 400 manuscripts that caused doubt as to their meanings?

And didn’t he say 150,000 Variant readings of the New Testament?

And this is offered as evidence to the authenticity of these manuscripts being the “word of God?”

Make 50 Copies

Constantine controlled the copying and distribution of the New Testament Bible. He commissioned the writing of fifty Bibles (331 C.E. overseen by Eusebius of Caesarea).  They all were the Catholic's chosen "New Testament" books.  There were no Old Testament books copied and included.  This was a large undertaking in those days. These copies were master copies from which all other New Testament Bibles were to be copied from.

As late as 450 CE, Theodore of Cyrrhus said that there were at least 200 different gospels circulating in his own diocese. Even the Catholic Encylopedia now admits that the “idea of a complete and clear-cut canon of the New Testament existing from the beginning  … has no foundation in history.”  The Roman philosopher Celsus, witness to the falsification of Christian writings already in the second century, said the same of the revisionists,

Some of them, as it were in a drunken state producing self-induced visions, remodel their Gospel from its first written form, and reform it so that they may be able to refute the objections brought against it.   ....   Celsus

The Catholic Encylcopedia concedes that;

“In all the departments forgery and interpolation as well as ignorance had wrought mischief on a grand scale.””
